Fire destroys 3 houses in Parsa

Birgunj, April 20 – Properties worth around Rs 400,000 was gutted when three houses caught fire at Sonbarsha VDC in Parsa district Saturday night.
The fire was started from the house of local Hafij Miya while cooking food.
The fire also destroyed houses of Sarif Miya and Razjak Miya. Different goods including food grain, clothes and utensils, among others turned into ashes in the incident.
Locals and police personnel of the Area Police Office, Paterwa Sugauli brought the fire under control.
The District Administration Office has appealed Parsa folks to be alert as incidents of fire have increased in the district in recent days.
