Educational materials worth seven million donated

Solukhumbu, Feb. 28 – The Himalayan Trust, working for education development in Solukhumbu district, has donated educational materials worth Rs. Seven million to 65 schools in 12 VDCs of the district.
The distribution of education material concluded this week with the total support crossing over seven million rupees, said the Trust's Solu Coordinator Nawa Bahadur Bhujel.
The educational support is aimed at helping develop child-friendly atmosphere in the schools, he said.
The support included 58 different types of educational materials including copies, whiteboards and markers, the Trust said.
