Deadline of CA regulations drafting committee extended

Kathmandu, Feb 26 – The timeline of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Regulations Drafting Committee has been extended till March 1.

 

In Wednesday´s meeting of CA, Committee President Laxman Lal Karna proposed the meeting to extend the deadline of the committee. The committee was formed as per the article 78 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal-2007.

 

The 39-member committee was constituted on February 12. Making the clarification about the necessity of extending committee´s deadline, its President Karna said the committee failed to accomplish its task on time due to busy schedule of Legislature-Parliament and CA.
