Nembang sworn in as CA chairman

Kathmandu, Feb. 19 – Subash Chandra Nembang has been sworn in as Constituent Assembly (CA) chairman amidst a function at the President's office in Sheetal Niwas, Kathmandu on Wednesday.
President Dr Ram Baran Yadav administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-elected Constituent Assembly chairman.
Nembang has been elected the CA chairman twice after the country became a republic. He has also served as the Speaker of the Parliament two times earlier to the period.
Vice President Parmananda Jha, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, Acting Chief Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma, Minister Ram Sharan Mahat, heads of constitutional bodies, secretaries, heads of security bodies, amidst others, were present at the swearing-in function today.
