Rs 2 million looted in Jhapa

Jhapa, Feb 7 – An unidentified gang looted Rs two million from a money exchanger at Mechinagar, Jhapa early this morning. The incident reportedly took place at around 5:30 am.
Chandra Sitaula of Mechinagar-10 was going to his money exchanger with the cash from his shop in the morning when two youths looted him at gun point, according to police.
Meanwhile, in protest against this incident of robbery and calling for immediate arrest of those involved in it all money changers in Kankarvitta have been shut down.
The Area Police Kankarvitta has arrested two youths suspected of involvement in the early morning loot. Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
