Fire in Dang Poultry Feed Industry: Rs 13 million destroyed

Dang, Feb 3 – Property worth over Rs 13 million were destroyed in a fire that broke out in Dang Poultry Feed Industry at Dudhena, Tulsipur Municipality ward no. 8 in the district on Sunday night.

 

The fire sparked due to short circuit had quickly engulfed the industry destroying all the equipments, furniture and raw materials used for feed manufacturing, said chief at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur Tul Bahadur Karki.

 

The fire was brought under control after some hours by a joint effort of the locals, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and fire engines brought from Tulsipur and Ghorahai municipality.

 

Detail assessment of the loss is yet to come out, said proprietor of the feed industry Dhaneshwor Oli.
