Six Indians killed in jeep fall

Tanahun, Jan 1 – At least six Indians have been killed in a jeep fall into the Marsyangdi River in Tanahun district on Tuesday night.
The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 669) heading to Kathmandu from Pokhara plunged into the river at Chunpahara in Bandipur-6. Five persons including the driver have been injured in the accident
The deceased have been identified as Binay Kumar Tiwari, 85, Hemanta Tripathi, 13, Kalawati Tiwari, 56, Poonam Tripathi, 33, Neha Tripathi, 20 and Milan Tripathi, 36.
Rest of the injuired have been undergoing treatmentat Laxmi Hospital in Dumre. The dead bodies have been kept at the same hospital for the post-mortem.
