senior Journalist Ramesh Ghimire dies

Janakpurdham, Dec 19 – Senior Journalist Ramesh Ghimire has passed away on Wednesday. He was 88.

 

According to the family source, Ghimire died at his residence in Hetauda. Born in 1982 BS, Ghimire was active in journalism sector for more than 50 years.

 

He was the editor and publisher of Dhanusha Weekly. The newspaper is being published from Janakpur for more than five decades.

 

The government had honored Ghimire with the Senior Journalists Award. The award carries a purse of Rs 200,000 and a certificate.
