Load shedding hours increase

Kathmandu, Dec 16 – Nepal Electricity Authority has increased the daily power cut hours to 9 hours per day.
According to Nepal electricity Authority, new load shedding schedule will be implemented from Tuesday. The load shedding hour is said to be increased to 63 hours each week.
The deceasing level of water in river is the main reason for more hours of load shedding, Nepal electricity Authority informed.
At the recent period, a total of 4 hundred megawatt of electricity has been lower than the demand, Source added in the satement.
The power will be cut three times a day from Tuesday however; A day in a week will have power cut by two times a day.
