Jagadamba Steel Caught fire : 1 killed

Parsa , Dec 15-  Jagadamba Steel factory at Simara VDC in Bara district has caught fire on Saturday night. A labour has died of suffocation and 11 others survived in the incident .

 

Dhanahi Musahar, 20, of Maharajgunj district in Uttar Pradesh (UP), India, breathed his last due to lack of oxygen caused by smoke in a room in factory premises, according to the District Police Office, Parsa. The labourers had lit the fire in the room to escape the cold.

 

All other ill labourers are undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, Birgunj, police said.

 

Of the injured, condition of Mohit Godh, Almagir Miya, Devendra Mahasur and Diper Mahasur is critical, according to the Hospital source.
