Siraha Fire destroys property worth Rs 1m

Siraha, Dec 10-  Fire has completely destroyed six houses of three Dalit families at Sitapur VDC-5 in Siraha district Tuesday morning.

 

According to the Area Police Office, Lahan, houses of Chandreshwor Ram, Prameshwor Ram and Domi Das, among others were destroyed by fire.

 

Property worth more than one million rupees was gutted by fire, said Shiva Kumar Yadav, a local.

 

The fire started from the house of Chandeshwor Ram due to a short circuit.

 

Police personnel of Sitapur Police Post and locals brought the fire under control.
