Veggies Price cool down
kathmandu, Dec 1 – The prices of vegetables, which a few weeks ago had increased exceedingly, have come down a little. The ladies fingers have come down to 56 rupees per Kg from hundred and 15 rupees. The onion price has fallen to 60 rupees each kg to from 80 per kg.
The prices of other vegetables including Tomatoes, red potato, onion, carrot, cabbage, local cauli flower, Brinjal, peas, bitter melon, bottle gourd, green pumpkin, mushroom, broccoli, cucumber, ginger, green chilly and coriander have come down.
“With winter season progressing, the seasonal vegetables are coming in good stock to the market and thus the prices have gone down." saidBharat Khatiwada, Chairman of Fruits & Vegetables – Wholesalers said.
Likewise, fruits price including apple, Orange and Pomegranate, watermelon, Pineapple and papaya has gone down.
