NTC to provide free Wi-Fi facility

Kathmandu, Dec 1 – The state-owned telecom operator, Nepal Telecom (NT) has announced to provide free Wi-Fi service in public places in the valley for three months.
Under the Corporate social responsibility NT has set up Wi-Fi hotspots to provide free Wi-Fi facility. Nepal telecom has already started its Wi-Fi services in Tribhuwan International Airport.
Likewise, NT will provide free Wi-Fi service at Bir Hospital, Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital, Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center and different offices of NT for three months.
According to deputy manager of Nepal Telecom Devendra Khatiwada, "The free Wi-Fi facility will be provided giving priority to the public place like hospital, restaurants, Airport, Park Shopping Mall, Buspark and tourists visiting area."
The facility can be used through mobile phone, Smart phone, Ipad and laptop.
