NC prez, Japanese envoy hold talks

Kathmandu, Nov 28 – The president of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Kunio Takahashi held a meeting at the former´s residence at Maharajgunj here this morning.
Ambassador Takahashi congratulated Koirala on the Nepali Congress becoming the largest party after CA election.
In the meeting, they discussed matters of bilateral relations and mutual interest between Nepal and Japan, it is learnt.
President Koirala informed the ambassador about the current situation in the country and the ongoing attempts towards forming a consensus government, said Laxman Dhakal, personal secretary to the NC president.
