US envoy Bode meets UCPN (M) leader Bhattarai

Kathmand, Nov 26 – UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Baburam Bhattarai and US envoy to Nepal Peter J. Bode held discussions this morning.

 

They held meeting at the Bhattarai’s residence at Sanepa on Tuesday. During the conversation Bhattarai repeated his party’s commitment towards the path of peace and constitutional process. He added that his party is committed to the consensus politics as the Monday’s central committee meeting also directed to this effect.

 

In the meeting, the duo also discussed about the recently concluded election. Bhattarai opined that a proper investigation should be carried out over the alleged ‘election irregularities’ .
