11th Handicraft Trade Fair to begin from Nov 27

Kathmandu Nov 25 – The 11th Handicraft Trade Fair and the 9th Competitive Handicraft Exhibition is starting here from November 27.

 

The Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal announced this at a press conference here on Sunday. The handicraft trade fair cum exhibition is being organised with the objective of promoting the handicraft production and trade.

 

The four-day trade fair is opening at the Bhrikuti Mandap exhibition hall on Wednesday. Besides Nepal, different countries including China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Oman are participating in the trade fair.

 

There would be some 200 stalls at the expo cum fair, according to the organizers. Pavilion competition, seminars on promotion of handicrafts and foreign stalls are the main highlights of the exhibition.
