Bombs found at two places in Ilam

Ilam, Nov 15 – Bombs have been found at two different places in Ilam on Friday morning. The IEDs were found planted at Nepaltar at Sankhejung-7 and Siddhithumka- 5 along the Mechi Highway.

 

A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army´s Kalidhwaj Battalion has left for these places after getting the information. Police have cordoned off the spots where the bombs have been planted.

 

The locals have been terrorized. It is confirmed that the IEDs were planted by cadres of the poll-opposing 33-party alliance.

 

With this, bombs have been found in five places in the district so far since the beginning of the alliance´s general strike on November 12.
