NC, UML cadres clash in Dolakha

Dolakha, Nov 13 – The Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML cadres have clashed at Mainapokhari Bazaar, Kabre VDC in Dolakha district.

 

The clash took place on Tuesday night in which the cadres of the two parties threw rocks at each other. Some cadres of both sides and temporary policemen have been injured in the clash.

 

Irate NC cadres have vandalized the UML´s party office at Mainapokhari Bazaar. They threw stones at the party office nd also at some private houses in the town.

 

Four vehicles belonging to both parties, including the one used by Nepali Congress candidate Jip Chhiring Lama in his election campaign, have been vandalized.

 

The clash broke out after the UML cadres returning from their party´s election mass meeting at Chyama VDC started shouting slogans against the Nepali Congress at Mainapokhari Bazaar. The Nepali Congress had organized an election meeting at Mainapokhari Bazaar on Tuesday.
