Transportation entrepreneurs agreed to continue services
Kathmandu, Nov 12 – The transport entrepreneurs have agreed to continue their services during general strike imposed by the CPN-Maoist.-led 33-party alliance.
The agreement was reached on Tuesday during a meeting between transport entrepreneurs and Minister for Transport Management Chabbi Raj Pant at the Ministry.
On the occasion, Minister Pant urged the transport entrepreneurs to continue services. Assuring the entrepreneurs he promised that the government would arrange security and provide compensation, if the vehicles were torched or vandalized.
The two sides signed an agreement to resume public transportation during the bandh.
