Murder accused arrested in Siraha

Siraha, Nov 3 – Police have arrested an accused of a murder case, who was at large, and made him public in Siraha district.

 

The arrested is Sitasharan Mandal, 42, of Kalyanpur Jabdi-2 in Siraha district.

 

Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Purna Chandra Joshi, said that Mandal was arrested from Lahan Municipality on Friday night.

 

Mandal was arrested on the basis of petition filed at the District Police Office for murdering Kishori Mandal, 50, of Kalyanpur Jabdi-2 at Baluwa on May 14.

 

Investigation into the case is underway, said police.
