Election fever grips nation: Yadav

Kathmandu, 31 – Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has said the Constituent Assembly (CA) fever has gripped the nation of late.
Chairman Yadav told RSS that the nation has proper environment for the CA election and people are enthusiastic to vote for the candidates of their choice.
MJF Nepal Chairman Yadav stressed on the need of tightening security and said that Nepali people were confident that the election would be held in time.
The people, however, are not sure whether the election will give new constitution as there are many poll opposing parties including the CPN-Maoist out of the election process, he said.
He claimed that the MJF-Nepal was a national party and that it had extended its organisations across the nation.
Yadav said that his party, which had limited its organisation in Terai in the first CA has fielded its candidates from hilly region as well in the upcoming CA election .
MJF-Nepal has fielded 138 candidates in the first-past-the-post election system from 38 districts while 100 candidates are in the proportional representative system.
