NC cadres, police clash in Naubise

Gajuri, Dhading, Oct 25 – Nepali Congress cadres and police clashed today at Naubise in Dhading district after police took out flags from their vehicles saying flags were put against the election code of conduct.
One Congress worker was injured when clashes occurred while police took out the flags from the private vehicles stopped in Naubise Bazaar.
Some dozen party workers including Congress Dhading Assistant Secretary Arjun Upreti have been injured, NC informed, adding that Upreti is undergoing treatment at Shahid Memorial Hospital at Kalanki.
Congress workers have protested against the police and threw away goods of the police beat at Naubise and clashes ensued. They took out rally from Naubise to Khanikhola and organized a corner meeting at Area Police Office Khanikhola.
Addressing the meeting, NC Constituency No. 3 candidate Buddhalaxmi Lama accused police of atrocity and informed that sit-in and protest will continue all day today.
