Chinese Onion import increases

Janakpurdham, Oct 25 – Consumers have been benefited after Chinese Onion Import increased in Nepal. Chinese Onion has been trading at the rate of 60-90 per kg whereas Indian onion is at the rate of rs.110 per kg.

 

After the onion price imported from South India becomes stronger, Chiense onion import has started Janakpur District – Chariman of Potato and Onion trade association, Mohammad Aloudin informed.

 

Janakpur distric is importing 50 quintals of onion each day sice 3 days which has affected the Nepalese market of Indian onion.
