leopard attacks in Syangja, 4 injured

Syangha, Oct 24: As many as four persons were injured after a leopard attacked them at Agrikharka in Rapakot VDC-3 in Syangja district on Thursday.

 

Two among them have been injured critically. Anakanta Lamsal, 15, Kesh Kumari Lamsal, 25, Thag Narayan Lamsal, 55, and Ramesh Prasad Kafle, 22, were injured in the incident, according to District Police Office, Syangja.

 

The leopard suddenly attacked the people while they were harvesting paddy in their farm nearby their village.

 

Critically injured Anakanta and Kesh Kumari have been sent to Pokhara for their treatment as it was not possible in local health centre, and the leopard was killed, said Assistant Forest Officer, Om Bahadur Gurung.
