Iran-Nepal photo exibition held in Capital

Kathmandu, Oct 24 – Iranian trekker-photographer, Majid Jamalifar along with his three friends has organized a 5 days long awe-inspiring photos exhibition in GAA hall, Thamel.

 

The photo exhibition is aimed to display the natural and historical places of both countries including Natural sites and historical monuments to the people.  Exhibition has been running since October 21 and is open everyday from 9am to 12pm and 4pm to 6pm.

 

A Forty-five year-old photographer, Majid Jamalifar said, " the exhibition has been held to promote Nepal- Iran relations  through the inspiring photos of natural and historical places of both the countries.

 

Adding to his statement, Jamalifar  informed, "The Waterfalls, ice caves, salt desert, sand desert and snow mountains are just one part of Iran’s Natural treasure. Only in Esfahan- Iran’s capital of art and culture- you can see snow and sand desert in one season. This vast province is just slightly smaller than whole Nepal."

 

Beside photos exquisite Persian handicrafts are also being presented and sold in the exibition.

 

According to visitors’ feedback Majid’s photos have radically changed the views of many people about Iran.
