Potato price may rise in Tihar

Kathmandu, Oct 22 – The price of potato in domestic market has risen up targeting upcoming festival Deepawali.
The potato price has reached to 1 hundred and 20 rupees per kg. Potatoes rate is trading at different rate in each shop especially in the area Asan, Maru and Gongabu.
As per the traders, Governemnt carelessness in controlling the price is the reason for price hike in potatoes. The price may go much higher near Tihar, traders added.
