CPN-UML unveiled its manifesto

Kathmandu, Oct 22 – CPN-UML has unveiled its long-awaited manifesto for the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections at its party headquarters in Balkhu on Tuesday morning.

 

Unveiling manifesto, UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal said his party has structured Nepal into seven provinces based on multiple identities and has opted for directly elected executive prime minister and constitutional president elected from the Parliament.

 

In the manifesto, the party has made its promises to ensure 50 percent of women participation in the local bodies, provide jobs to around 300 people in a year and avoid bands, among others.
