Sesh Ghale elected as a new president of NRNA

Kathmandu, Oct 21 – Sesh Ghale from Austalia has been elected as the President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) on Monday.
Out of 802 votes, Ghale bagged a total of 510 votes against his rival Tenzi Sherpa who acquired just 280 votes.
Around 1,300 were eligible to cast their votes to elect new NRNA leadership for the next two years.
Similarly, Bhawan Bhatta and TB Karki have been elected as Vice-president of NRNA. Bhatta received 348 votes while Karki acquired 300 votes.
Likewise, Kumar Panta defeated Rajen Kandel for the post of General Secretary by 35 votes. Pata bagged 395 votes.
Ghale and Sherpa contested for the post after Ram Pratap Thapa, Hitman Gurung, and Rameshwor Shah pulled out their candidacies from the race.
