Money exchanger is looted
Damak, Oct 8 – A money exchanger was looted in broad daylight at Damak of Jhapa district on Tuesday afternoon.
Two motorcycle-borne armed persons looted Indra Karki with Rs. 280,000 cash. Karki is the proprietor of Prabhu Money Transfer branch based in Damak-11.
According to the Area Police Office Damak, the gang coming on a black pulsar motorbike looted Karki at gunpoint.
They left eight rounds of bullets on the spot. Following the incident, police have launched a manhunt to nab the looters, according to Damak Police Chief and Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Adhikari
