Home Minister vows to foil any ill-attempts to disrupt polls

Nepalgunj, Oct 8 – Home minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire has said the government has devised adequate security strategies to hold the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.
Inaugurating a mid-Western regional level conference on CA election security in Nepalgunj on Tuesday morning, Minister Ghimire further made it clear that the government will foil any ill-attempts to disrupt election.
Necessary preparation is completed to maintain peace and enable the fear-free environment for the election, the Home Minister said.
´The government will do use force over thpse who merely boycotts election but will take action against those opting to disrupt election´, Minister Ghimire added.
He went on saying that the government is committed to holding the CA election to institutionalize democratic republic, write a new constitution and maintain political stability since it is imperative to take ahead the process,.
Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Shankar Prasad Koirala said that the government is capable enough to provide security to all those involved in election related activities.
Chief District Officers and high-placed police officials of 15 districts under mid-Western Region are presenting the security strategy devised in their respective districts on the occasion, it is learnt.
