Gagan Thapa stresses on positive politics

Kathmandu, Oct 3 – Youth leader of the Nepali Congress, Gagan Thapa , has said that initiative should be taken to bring the CPN-Maoist, a party to the decade-long armed conflict, in the second election to the Constituent Assembly (CA).
He said the party should be brought to election even by postponing the election as peace process would be affected if it does not participate in the election.
At a greetings- exchange and tea-reception programme organised by the working committee of NC Mahankal VDC-9 at Sukedhara in Kathmandu, Thursday morning, on the eve of Dashain and Tihar festivals, Thapa, a candidate of the Nepali Congress Kathmandu Constituency No. 4 and NC central member, said that the NC should take initiative being responsible to convince them to participate in the election.
In a different note, he demanded that political parties should give responsibility to young generation and added that he believes on moral strength and positive politics.
NC Mahankal VDC President, Ganesh Kumar Koirala also expressed his views.
Ram Prasad Karki, a social worker, was also honoured on the occasion.
