5.0 ritcher scale jolts sikkim, termors felt in Nepal as well

Kathmandu, Oct 3 – An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Sikkim on Thursday, has shaken Kathmandu valley as well. (Ritcher scale source: TOI)
According to the regional seismological centre Sikkim – The epicenter of the quake that struck at 11.43am was at a place in Sikkim whose latitude and longitude were 27.4 degree N and 88.5 degree E respectively.
Tremors were felt in Kathmandu valley as well.
