1,200 youth apply for temporary police

Jumla, Oct. 1 – As many as 1,200 youths of Jumla, Humla and Dolpa districts of Karnali zone have filled up applications for temporary police in view of Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
Youths coming from remote areas were found eager to apply for the post of temporary police but some of them returned empty handed due to short span of time, said the District Police Office.
As many as 500 seats were allocated for Jumla, Dolpa and Humla districts in Karnali zone but the number of applicants were more than 1,200, said DSP Bishwa Mani Pokharel.
