Nepal becomes full members of ISO

Kathmandu, Sept 27 – Nepal has become the full member of the International Standards Organisation (ISO).
Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala made public the ISO membership certificate at a program organized at the Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology on Thursday.
Addressing the programme, Koirala, also the Minister of Industry said we should utilize this achievement as a national glory.
As the membership is both challenge and opportunity, we should upgrade bodies that are directly related with the consumers, he said.
Minister Koirala said the government resources and foreign aid was utilized for increasing the quality of the lab, and assured that there will be no problem due to lack of resources.
