Air Dynasty chopper crashed at lukla
Kathmandu, Sept 25 – Five people including one crew member were injured when a 9N-AEX Air Dynasty helicopter crashed at Lukla based Tenjing Hilary airport, Solukhumbu on Thursday morning.
The chopper met with the accident after its wheel hit against the fencing wire of the airport while landing.
The four injured have been identified as pilot Arun Malla, passengers Lakpa Sonam Sherpa, Anita Sherpa and Dawa Gyaljen Sherpa. Of the injured, the condition of Dawa Gyaljen Sherpa of Chaurikharka-8, is said to be critical.
According to RSS, the injured Captain Arun Malla and passenger Dawagel Sherpa have been brought to the Capital for further treatment at 10:25 am this morning after treatment at local hospital.
They were brought to Kathmandu by another helicopter of the company, said Officiating General Manager of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Tribhuvan International Airport Office, Narendra Bahadur Thapa.
