Prez Yadav certifies CA members Election Ordiance

Kathmandu, Sep 18  – President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has certified the Constituent Assembly Members Election (first amendment) Ordinance-2013 on Wednesday.

 

President Dr Yadav certified the ordinance as per the Article 88 (A) of the Interim Constitution-2007, stated a press release signed by Joint-Secretary of the Office of the President, Maniram Ojha.

 

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday decided to send the ordinance to the President for the certification.

 

Chairman of the Interim Election Council, Khil Raj Regmi, met President Yadav and submitted the ordinance for the certification as per the decision.

 

Political parties associated with the High Level Political Committee urged the government for the amendment of the ordinance.
