Advance ticket booking started in valley

Kathmandu, Sep 17 – Advance ticket booking service has started in Kathmandu valley from Tuesday morning. Considering the easy journey to the people heading back home for Dashain, Tihar and Chhat festivals, the Department of Transport Management (DTM) in coordination with Metropolitan Traffic Police Office (MTPO) has opened advance ticket bookings.
A Civil Service Monitoring Team composed of staffers from DTM and MTPO has been deployed to ensure the smooth operation of the ticket bookings while the price list of the ticket fare for every long and short routes have been pasted outside the counters to ensure that the passengers will not be duped.
