Least cost shop launched from today

Kathmandu, Sep 17 – Nepal government has launched least cost shop from today in domestic market. Considering the upcoming festival and the possible price hike during the time, government has launched the discounted shops in various places in and outside the valley.
The shops is operated by three public enterprises (PEs)—National Trading Ltd (NTL), Salt Trading Corporation (STC), Nepal Food Corporation (NFC)—will sell daily essential goods like rice, sugar, salt and edible oil at discounted rates.
The number of shops in valley is located at 8 different places and more than in 70 places outside the valley in various districts. The shops will last for 3 months period.
Customers can trade through the shops from 11 in the morning to 6 pm in the evening.
