Pashupatinath area being decorated for teej

Kathmandu, Sep 6 – keeping in view the Haritalika Teej, Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), initiated a cleanliness programme from Guheshwori to the Pashupatinath Temple on Friday.
Nepali Police personnel, Nepal Army, religious organisations, locals and students joined to decorate the temple area.
Meanwhile, the PADT has formed the 51-member Haritalika Teej Main Celebration Festival to make the festival celebrations more systematic and disciplined. Trust board of directors' member Shila Panta and director Bharat Marasini is the coordinator and secretary on the committee, respectively.
According to Trust Member Secretary Dr Govinda Tandon, four lines will be made for the devotees visiting the temple on the Day of Haritalika Teej.
Besides, drinking water will be managed for devotees, he said.
The trust will manage a special ticket of Rs. 1.000 for those who want to worship without sitting in a queue.
