NSP forms committee for govt talks

Kathmandu, August 29 – The Nepal Sadbhawana Party (NSP) has formed a seven-member committee under the chairmanship of vice-Chairman Ram Baran Yadav to hold talks with the government.
The government had sent a letter to the party urging it to come for the talks on August 27.
Spokesperson of the party, Govind Saha, said that a letter has been sent to the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers on behalf of the party today.
The hunger strike staged by Chairperson of the party, Sarita Giri, at Ratnapark-based Shantibatika from August 13 is going on.
The party has been launching agitation by putting forth various demands including increasing number of constituencies in Tarai on the basis of population and guaranteeing of proportional and inclusive representation.
