Chairman urged Adhikari Couple to take back Hunger strike

Kathmandu, August 29 – Chairman of Interim Election Government Khil Raj Regmi met Nanda Prasad Adhikari and Ganga Maya, who have been in hunger strike since July 31, demanding their son’s killers be brought to book.
They said that the rebel side had kidnapped and murdered their son during the conflict period.
Chairman Regmi also requested requested Adhikari couple to look after their health as the government has already initiated investigation to book the culprit.
The couple, however, told the visiting team that they wont cut out the strike until the culprits of son are arrested.
Adikari Couple's son Krishna was kidnapped from Bakulahar chowk in Ratna Nagar Municipality in Chitwan in June 2004 by Maoist cadres and killed the next day.
