Krishna Janmaasthami being observed

Kathmandu, August 28 – Krishna Janmaashtami – The birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country.
On the occasion, all Krishna temples has been covered by mass of devotees. Krishna Mandir in Patan has a queue of devotees since early morning .
President Ram Varan Yadav has also visited the temple in Patan early morning.He has conveyed his greeting to all national and international Nepalese on occasion of krishna Janmaasthami.
Lord Krishna remembered as 8th incarnation of lord Vishnu is worshipped on his birth anniversary. Devotees observe a fast and sing devotional songs dedicated to Krishna until midnight.
