Prachanda, Regmi discuss CA elections

Kathmandu, Aug 22 – UCPN (Maoist) chairman Prachanda on Thursday met with Khil Raj Regmi, the chairman of Interim Election Council and discussed ways to make the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections a success.
According to cabinet sources, both the leaders expressed commitment for the November 19 polls, also taking note of various facts and issues that play a pivotal role in the elections.
Prachanda, on the occasion, briefed Regmi about the ongoing talks with poll-opposing parties and the progress made so far. Regmi, too, informed Prachanda about the preparations of the government in regard to the elections.
