16 cement factories in Nepal banned for its production

Kathmandu, August 21 – Jagadamba and Butwal cement mills-A distinct brand name in the Nepalese cement market are banned to produce and trade its products in market. Both of the cemnt factories are found to have produced less quality cement.(source: Naya patrika)
Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology (NBSM) banned for production of cement by Jagadamba's PSC cement of and Butwal's OPC cement since Tuesday after they were found to have of less quality.
Similarly, Chaudhary Group(CG) along with 16 cement industries have been banned for cement production for operating without Nepal quality certification(NS)mark.
The other cement factories that have been in black list of department includes :
Jagadamba, Butwal, CG, Maruti, Rolpa, Araniko(Advance), Araniko Aabukhairani, Ghorahi Sagarmatha, International, MJP, kailsash, Star, Krishna, KP, shree, Om, Eastern cosmos(Tej and Purbeli).
