Flu greatly affects restuarnat business

Kathmandu, August 17 – Restaurants business is hampered due to birdflu. The ban on selling of chicken and its item in Nepal has made most of the restaurants and hotel business to record loss.
As per the hotel and restaurants traders, unavailability of chicken has decreased its business by 30 – 40 percentages.
According to Chicken purchasing and Distributing Association, before the flu meat transaction used to be above Rs.3 lakhs daily however, growing awareness of the new strain of bird flu has inevitably drive down business at returants.
