NC Banda hits normal life in Chitwan

Kathmandu, Aug 09 – Normal life has been crippled in Chitwan on Friday as well due to the district banda called by the Nepali Congress (NC) after police apprehended two of their cadres accused of assaulting an Indian citizen at Bharatpur Municipality.
Earlier on Thursday, NC affiliated Nepal Tarun Dal had enforced shutdown in the district demanding the release of Bharatpur Town Committee vice-president Pramis Rai and an NTD cadre Yam Bahadur Karki.
They were arrested on the charge of beating up a driver.
