UML epresses commitment for including rights of third gender

Kathmandu, Aug 8 – General Secretary of the CPN (UML), Ishwor Pokhrel, has expressed the commitment that the party would include rights of the third gender in the party´s manifesto for their representation and development.
Talking to a team led by former lawmaker Sunil Babu Panta at the UML party headquarters at Balkhu on Thursday, Pokhrel said the demands of the third gender would be included in the manifesto as the party has a inclusive policy.
He further said responsibility would be given to those who want to join the party from all walks of life.
On the occasion, Panta said more than 100 people of third gender are joining the UML within a few days and added that he was also positive to join the CPN (UML).
