Prez urges parties to hold election on announced date

KATHMANDU, AUG 01 – President Ram Baran Yadav has strongly recommended the political parties to conduct the Constituent Assembly election in the announced date.

The president made such remark during a meeting with UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal at Shital Niwas on Thursday morning.

During the meeting , the duo discussed preparations made for the upcoming Constituent Assembly election s and taking the dissenting parties on board the election process.

Meanwhile, CPN-UML senior leaders are also scheduled to meet President Yadav today.
