NEA faces a loss of 50 crore

Kathmandu, July 31 – Nepal electricity authority (NEA) is facing a loss of 50 crore rupees. As per the officials of Nepal elelctricity authority, during the fiscal year 2069/70, it has 5 crore unit of electricity being unused. Which is when converted at 10 rupees per unit cost, the unused amount reaches to 50 crore rupees.
As per the information from Nepal electricity authority, the less broadcasting capacity of hydroprojects have caused the electricity produced from Kaligandaki, chilime, Sunkoshi and Indrawati to be unused.
