Girl commits suicide at Kirti Girls hostel

Kathmandu,July 24 – A girl living at Kirtipur-based Kirti Girls Hostel committed suicide. The deceased has been identified as Deepa Dahal, 20, of Okhaldhunga district.

Deepa was found hanging at the hostel this morning. She was living there since December 2012. She was Bachelor Level First Year student at Kirtipur-based Mangal Multiple Campus.

A suicide note has been found in her room and investigation into the case is underway, said Police Inspector at the Metropolitan Police Sector, Kirtipur, Govinda Thapa.
